On Sunday November 29th 2009 there was an accidental fire that caught inside the cafeteria and resulted in an almost total loss of the building. We are currently cleaning out the tables and refrigerators and ask for your prayers during this very difficult process.
It seems that a fire was started inside the fireplace and somehow an object behind the fireplace caught fire and "destroyed" the building.
The cafeteria has been a vital part of the Elim camp for many years and for generations of family, friends, and believers abroad. The Lord continues to help us in this most serious time of need and we pray for his help in what has come as a shock to us all.
